Product Description
  • The InstaTool™ DeviceNet modules allow for communication and control of the Tool Changer with a Master DeviceNet node (ODVA compliance certified).
  • The Tool-side Insta-Bus supports fast cycle time applications with downstream I/O communicated through the Master node to the DeviceNet network.
  • A Tool Changer integrated solenoid valve is supported and controlled through the InstaTool Master DeviceNet module.
  • A flexible boot surrounds the pin block and seals the connection from moisture while the Tool Changer is coupled.
  • Patented Tool Stand Interlock (TSI) technology is provided through a connector on the Tool module. Integration of a mechanical limit switch will allow the integrated solenoid valve to uncouple the Tool Changer ONLY when the Tool is in the Stand.
  • Five (5) independent Tool-ID (0-9) switches provided.
  • Ready-to-Lock (R1 and R2), Lock (L), and Unlock (U) sensor inputs provided.
