Selecting a Compensator

There are many factors to consider when selecting the correct size Compensator. Follow the steps below or contact ATI Sales at 919-772-0115 to help you select the right Compensator for your application.

1. Compare possible assembly misalignment with Compensator allowable misalignment.
        Follow two steps:
        1) Determine the worst-case-scenario misalignment
        2) Find the total clearance
   
   
2. Calculate the optimum Center-of-Compliance (C-of-C).
        Select the model with a C-of-C within 30% of the distance (L)
   
   
3. Determine the required load capacity.
       
   
4. Minimize insertion force.
